The Design Story: 2010 Sony BRAVIA HDTV

Sony's new BRAVIA HDTVs for 2010 are probably the most stylish televisions around at the moment. You might say that they are ridiculously pristine. The design is clinically clean, fresh and modern, especially on BRAVIA NX800 above with stand. I don't know how well they perform visually but if I had the money and a home to decorate, I'd definitely put one of these as the centerpiece of my living room.

Sony is a strange company, sometimes they make some of the most stylish pieces of home electronic equipment around, other times they seem to have no idea what the hell they're doing on the the design front. This time they nailed it and I can recommend everyone interested in learning about the design of the new TVs to check out the mini documentary above so they can learn about "Tatazumai". I just hope that the next PlayStation from Sony is going to be based around the same ideas when it comes to design.
